The design of this hair salon prioritizes a balance between functionality and sensory experience. Organized into nine concentric grids, the layout features a central cube as a multifunctional core, incorporating washing and coloring stations. Encased entirely in mirrors, this central element creates visual continuities and reflections, enhancing spatial perception and depth.

A vertical gradient of colors, transitioning from white to blue, reduces visual noise and directs attention toward the hairstyle, the vividness of color, and the stylist’s work. This progression fosters a calm and focused atmosphere, optimizing the compact environment for both function and comfort.

The mirrored central cube plays a pivotal role in shaping the spatial experience. By generating repeated reflections, it creates a sense of infinite extension within a finite space, challenging the boundaries of the salon’s physical dimensions. This visual play not only amplifies the perception of space but also adds a dynamic and ever-changing quality to the environment, making each perspective unique and engaging.

Functionality is seamlessly integrated into the design, with each element serving multiple purposes. The central cube, apart from housing washing and coloring stations, acts as a visual anchor, organizing the surrounding activities and ensuring efficient movement through the space. The deliberate spatial hierarchy simplifies navigation while maintaining a cohesive and harmonious aesthetic.

The overall layout encourages a smooth flow of activities, reducing clutter and enhancing user comfort. The combination of reflective surfaces and subtle color gradients works to minimize distractions, allowing clients to focus on their personal transformation. This careful orchestration of elements ensures that the salon functions as both a practical workspace for stylists and an immersive, relaxing environment for clients.

The design’s focus on sensory experience extends beyond visual elements to include tactile and atmospheric qualities. The choice of materials, the gradation of light, and the controlled use of color all contribute to creating an environment that feels expansive yet intimate. By addressing both functional needs and emotional responses, the design elevates the act of hairstyling into a holistic and memorable experience.
