SHIFT CASE challenges the image of a traditional bookcase. Here the bookcase is broken into component shelves. Each shelf is bent and stacked in an alternating orientation, creating a shifting front face while still allowing the back to be flush against a wall.  SHIFTCASE is made with domestically sourced Baltic Birch Plywood and manufactured in San Diego, CA.  It is manufactured using a combination of hand and CNC fabrication techniques.
