The Science Library of University of Versailles is located just a mile away from the famous Palace of Versailles. According to Trévor Ablott, chief architect from Badia Berger Architects, the building is: “Clinging to the existing paths and slope, like a ribbed-shell covering rough concrete”. It captures history in a modern surroundings, preparing it for the future. The color, Champagne Brushed, captures the sunlight on different levels and emphasizes the site’s contrasts.
