Built on Millionaire's Row in Miami Beach by Morris Lapidus, architect most renown for the Fontainebleau Hotel, this apartment building is a rough diamond ready to be polished. Residents sought a more intimate atmosphere. The use of wood as well as domestic elements such as plants and bookshelves have mellowed the cold and endless lobby.
