Espace Libre, a landscape design and project management company founded in 1990, is today a landscape and urban planning studio whose skills cover a wide range of development fields: urban restructuring, infrastructure and roads, cycle paths, promenades, parks and gardens, playgrounds and sports fields.

Espace Libre's 12-strong landscaping team, led by Maxime Saïsse, who has been managing the company since July 2009, is responsible for design, project management and site supervision. The workshop's wide-ranging experience gives it a high degree of versatility, allowing it to adapt to each project.

Espace Libre's approach is to emphasize the structural elements of the existing landscape and make the spaces functional, while promoting social ties. The design work, always accompanied by a technical approach, consists in highlighting strong, centralizing spaces and developing the attractiveness of the site.

Within the studio, landscape architects, urban planners, architects and engineers share their know-how for a global approach to the project designed to enrich and energize the territory. The contemporary landscape design, drawn at several scales, is always the result of a process of reflection that draws on specialized skills in a variety of complementary fields.
