SUPERLOCAL is an innovative project in Kerkrade, in which three high-rise flats will be transformed in a sustainable way, with around 150 new houses and a green pubblic area.

In particular, the new park is designed with the purpose to collect rain water from the sourrounding area and the rooftops of the new houses, to be transformed in fresh drinking water.

The project method is to re-use the material that is released during demolition for
the construction of more than 100 affordable social rented dwellings. The qualities
present, such as the green, the beautiful view and the housing plans, are also reused.
