About 

I am looking for a position that will allow me to continue my career in architecture and complete my internship development requirements.  My ideal position would be highly involved with client interaction and project development.  I am also very interested in feasibility research and environmental/ ecological sensitivity.

Employment

I have 3 years of Architectural Intern Experience with Oculus Inc. beginning in 2007 as a summer and winter intern, and transitioning into full time employment May 2008 till June 2011. During this time I worked as a production staff member and gained responsibilities as an Assistant Project Manager on projects ranging in size from 750s.f. up to 50,000s.f. My project experience is predominantly with government entities, healthcare, retail, and private offices.
Responsibilities of my position included:
• Communicating with clients and collaborating with colleagues.
• Evolving projects from early programming phases into schematic design and design development.
• Managing project coordination with structural/ MEP engineer consultants.
• Providing efficient and accurate construction documentation, plus multidisciplinary integration through the intensive use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.
• Inspecting construction progress on site and aiding contractors understanding of construction documents and specifications.

As a graduate student, my thesis topic was Vertical Farming, I had a 3.7 GPA and I received both Research/ Teaching Assistantships.
As a Teaching Assistant my responsibilities included:
• Preparing template files for lab use and assignment directions/ samples.
• Performing lectures and presentations regarding BIM technology and passive design strategies.
• Instructing weekly Revit Architecture tutorials during lab sessions.
