Erick Prins is a Design Consultant located in the greater Southern California region. An alumnus of the University of Southern California, Erick graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture in 2011. Since then, his professional focus has been on high-end custom residential and hospitality projects.
With over 15 years with notable high-end residential and hospitality design firms, Erick provides a wealth of design and project management experience to help clients realize their unique projects.
In addition to his professional services, Erick continues to maintain a strong connection with USC through involvement as a Board Member for the USC Architectural Guild, championing its efforts in career development and mentor programs. Erick possesses a strong passion for developing the next generation of designers and architects.

Involved across studios within the office, with experience as a project BIM Coordinator and Designer, on both ends of KAA's design spectrum of single family traditional and modern residential design. All projects are fully documented BIM (ArchiCAD) models. Responsibilities include client, consultant and project team coordination and management as well as design coordination through all phases of the design process, including high end rendering solutions for project documentation, technical modeling across various platforms for design coordination and representation, detailing and construction documentation, as well as BIM support for current design practices. Coordinated and directed HBA’s CAD documentation teams in India for construction documentation and project management to meet tight international deadlines. Implemented new practices and procedures designed to mitigate tight schedules and make the project team more efficient including BIM documentation.

Parametric model development through use of Rhinoceros, Rhinoscript and Grasshopper modeling software. Responsibilities also included coordinating and developing project design and construction documentation along with presentation documentation.
