I am a Senior Level Certified Interior Designer, with an Artist’s Soul. I am formally educated, creative and solution-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a very unique variety of life experiences.
I have over 16 years of hospitality, commercial and award winning high-end residential design projects to my credit and have headed up new build and remodeling projects, including hotels, restaurants, sports bars and music clubs, throughout California, New York, Nevada and Washington state. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, in Interior Design, from a CIDA accredited school, I possess strong computer skills including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office, Bluebeam Revu & PlanGrid. In Oct. 2012 I passed the IDEX exam to earn my CID certification. CID #6771
As the Lead Designer and Procurement Agent for the Paradigm Hotels Group, I completed the entire FF&E package for a 174 room new construction build hotel in Downtown San Francisco, for Hilton Hotels Worldwide, and had many of my original designs incorporated into the guest rooms and public areas. This included extensive interface with Hilton Corporation personnel, the architectural and construction teams as well as national and international luxury goods vendors. I made frequent trips to Shanghai, Guangzhou/Foshan, Zhongshan City and Hangzhou, China to source and procure building materials, bath fixtures, as well as coordinating the fabrication of custom furniture and lighting.
Previously, I enjoyed a career in the film and television business as an Art Director and Production Designer. I was in charge of many large crews of carpenters and artisans throughout the United States and multiple International locations. I pride myself on being aware of all the fine details as well as being a fair and considerate project manager. Just trying to make the world a more beautiful place!
