ELS worked with Rouse Properties to transform a formerly vacant three-level department store into a state-of-the-art theater with IMAX at NewPark Mall. A former loading dock was incorporated as an open-air garden space with seating and a bamboo grove. The cinema’s lobby features a double-height glass wall through which a massive mural of iconic movie images glows at night. Beneath the theater is a large-format entertainment tenant featuring meeting rooms, games, amusement park rides, and an extensive arcade.
