Education

Harvard University, Masters, Masters of Design Studies in Sustainable Design

In the sustainable design program at the GSD, we are learning how to design and consult on high performance buildings though analysis of climate, site, and simulation to inform building design decisions. We are using various software programs to model and predict energy usage and accurately simulate daylight performance. We are also learning how to use environmental data to generate energy conserving features for buildings such as optimized shading devices.

My coursework includes Daylighting in Buildings, Energy in Buildings (at MIT), Environmentally Responsive Building Skins, Thermal Performance and Comfort in Buildings, The Environmental Performance of Tall Buildings, Modelling Urban Energy Flows, Planning and Environmental Law, and Brownfields.
