NeueHouse is a collective membership workspace designed for today’s creative entrepreneurs. Originated in New York City, the NeueHouse brand expanded to Los Angeles in 2015, taking over the former historic modernist CBS Headquarters as its new Hollywood home.
Serving as Architect of Record, Electric Bowery worked with NeueHouse Studio and the Rockwell Group to complete the extensive Tenant Improvement scope on the 70,000 sf + project that celebrates the history of the original structure and creative leaders such as Orson Welles, Lucille Ball, Bob Dylan & The Beach Boys. The unique collaborative work environment includes 6 floors of office space, dining areas, restoration of the original Studio A recording studio, screening rooms, exterior terraces, and signage. Close coordination with the Los Angeles Historic Resources Dept. and Hollywood Heritage was integral in Electric Bowery’s role to help realize the end product, warmly received by Los Angeles’ creative community.
