2 small dwelings from a non regular shop unit in a XVII century building in Madrid is a big challenge in a small space.
The project was a difficult but we enjoyed it quite a lot: we need to provied light and ventilation to every area, but we also wanted to preserve walls configuration, not only for structural and economic reason, but also because we understand that was the best chance to increase the resulting small spaces value.
So, a irregular sequence of sqared spaces as a necklace was a simple but effective solution.
