Ekam Singh is an architect and writer based in New York City, currently in the second year of the M.Arch program at Pratt Institute. With a B.Arch. (summa cum laude) from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, he is inspired by community-driven architectural strategies and research on novel spatial experiences at the intersection of nature and human intervention. Currently serving as the Student Advisor to the Dean, he hopes to build a sense of collective agency amongst the student body and a more equitable academic environment. With a penchant for the written word, his work has been published on platforms such as Koozarch, LiveWire and Rethinking the Future and he is one of the fellows of the AN New Voices in Architecture Journalism program.
