Wilhelm Oehl, Partner and Principal of Eight Inc., will be one of the influential speakers at the “Future of Mobility - How German Design Will Move Us” conference that will be held at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles on August 13th 2013.
From current mobility trends to the impact of design on human behavior, from cars, bikes, airplanes and trains to interactive mobility solutions, the half-day conference offers a forum for creative and business leaders to discuss how design can help to meet the global challenges of our society.
Other speakers scheduled to discuss their ideas and share insights include key decision makers from BMW DesignworksUSA, Siemens, Icon Aircraft and many more. BWM will display their new i3, the world’s first premium car designed from the ground up to be powered by an electric system.
The event is carried out by German American Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
