Maui, Hawaii - Front Street in Lahaina, Maui will get a new feel just in time for the busy holiday season with the opening of The Outlets of Maui, a retail, dining and entertainment mecca. The design team, Eight Inc. respects the historic character and vibrancy of Lahaina while recognizing modern day retail expectations through its design. Eight Inc. teamed up with local developer, The Outlets of Maui 1 LLC for this multimillion dollar redevelopment.

The Outlets of Maui is comprised of 10 existing buildings, each of which has received a significant architectural upgrades. Variety is expressed through the hierarchy of large, medium, and small storefronts.  Extensive landscape improvements establish a pedestrian experience that encourages walking and gathering. Through new landscaping, lighting, and public art, a gateway at the corner of Front and Papalaua Streets is a welcoming waterfront addition.

The center marks the first outlet on Maui and the second in the state. Approximately 35 retail stores and restaurants will occupy the 147,000 square foot center when it opens and more are slated soon after. Some of the featured tenants in the center include, Guess, Michael Kors, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. The Outlets of Maui will host its grand opening on December 6th.
