Currently completing the final year of my masters, my academic career has been influenced by several disciplines. Valuing perseverance and a crosscutting approach in multiple topics ever since the very beginning of my education years, the knowledge of technology has almost matched, if not been overcome, my level of dedication to excel in arts and design. This interest in perfecting manual crafts and learning new methods of representation stimulated my curiosity, and ultimately set the foundations to a critical view that led me to study architecture. Not only experimenting with the meanings of form, but also willing to take part into the physical construction of each and every concept, diversity and flexibility between subjects have been major topics in my training. Understanding the importance of every step in the designing process has proved to be both challenging and enriching.
But if there is one topic that represents my main personal interest is Urbanism. Studying the growth of the cities in Barcelona, one of the most paradigmatic cases itself, has worked as a backbone and provided me with a brand new perspective. Anthropology, sociology and politics have come together in my final degree thesis "Movements of vindication: new values of urban space", a research brought up as a result of Catalunya's identity crisis and its various manifestations, which have taken place recently.
