The new Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, GW Health will be the new hospital and point of pride for the DC community serving Wards 7 & 8 in Anacostia. The 136-bed hospital is designed to build a more healthy and equitable DC by providing a range of services including a certified trauma center, maternal and neonatal care, emergency medicine, and a range of specialty and ambulatory care. Developed in partnership with UHS and the District of Columbia, Cedar Hill is designed to be fully integrated with two new urgent care facilities, existing providers, and the George Washington University Hospital to establish a robust system of care for all District residents and communities east of the Anacostia River.
