Over the past four and a half years since graduation, I have been working as an architectural assistant in the United Kingdom and for personal reasons, I am looking to transition to work in the US.

I have successfully worked under all four directors, learning lots of independent and teamworking skills both in architectural design and in office work. Achieved milestones such as multiple planning submissions and building regulations applications. I am competent in architectural design of a range of projects from healthcare, residential, heritage and commercial. Most of my work is in Revit, including setting up projects, creating families and drafting construction drawings. I regularly produce visualisations, sketch schemes and being a smaller firm, I have become proficient in problem-solving and regularly assist others with modelling.
My role also includes visiting projects on site such as for detailed measured surveys, site meetings and inspecting construction progress. I have had the opportunity to follow a new build project from concept through planning and on to construction.
