• This position consisted of working with the City of Chicago in the Residential Sound Insulation Program designed to reduce interior sound levels in qualifying homes surrounding O’Hare International and Midway Airports. I was responsible for doing hundreds of residential surveys (home inventories) where you measured and drew each house, verified issues related to code violations, and prepared a series of documents for the contractor to bid for construction. In addition we were required to attend pre-construction meetings between project manager, contractor, and owner to finalize construction contract.
• Responsible for reviewing numerous product submittals, and coordinating multiple documents and proposals between contractor and consultants.
• In charge of hiring, training, and supervising a team of Architectural Technicians, and monitoring and reviewing their workflow. Performing Quality control on work completed by technicians and creating reports for principals to review.

• Responsible for completing Construction Documents including Architectural, Electrical and HVAC drawings for the following projects: Red Mango Cafe in Caguas, Puerto Rico / Red Mango Cafe in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico / Hospital Entrance and Lobby Renovation in “Hospital del Maestro” in San Juan, Puerto Rico / California Closets store Renovation in San Juan, Puerto Rico / Private Residence Renovation from 6,000 sqft to 10,000 sqft in Dorado, Puerto Rico.

• Responsible from the conceptual design to Schematic design, Design Development, Construction Documents, renderings to the graphic material for Arroyo’s Seafront Revitalization/Renovation Project consisting of 50,600 sqft in area. It included Stage and backstage areas, seating area, concessionaires, bar, restrooms, train stop, etc, and the construction just finished and inaugurated in August 2015 (https://goo.gl/v1Ensw).
• Responsible for conceptual design, schematic design development; and final renderings and graphic material for a Mid-rise multi-unit apartment building located in Caguas, Puerto Rico, currently under construction.
• In charge of realizing countless construction estimates and proposals for a variety of construction biddings winning a large number of them. The job required me to calculate all materials and labor, locate suppliers with the best prices, and find subcontractors for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing work keeping always in mind to make a competitive number.
• Responsible of designing and creating an array of numerous design proposals whether was in a three-dimensional phase using Sketch Up and other rendering programs to create realism, or in a construction document phase using AutoCAD and some of the Adobe programs to add color and textures to the drawings.
• Solely responsible for designing and creating all content in the presentation boards for the Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de Puerto Rico (CAAPPR) Design Competition “Nueva Vivienda para Puerto Rico 2012”, were we won the first prize.
• In charge of supervising the construction of various projects, making sure the quality of the labor matches with the designer’s parameters and that it always complies with the time schedule established by our company; in addition of coordinating all sort of information between designers, clients, subcontractors and our office.

• Solely responsible of organizing employees work schedule, in addition of coordinating meetings between contractors, supervisors and clients to discuss the construction progress.
