As I started, the company was slowly becoming a design-build firm, therefore I started by starting the design of a house renovation. As I worked on the design, I looked up materials to use for the interiors and iterated them through plan and elevation drawings with AutoCAD; and images with 3d modeling and Photoshop.
A month in I was tasked to assist in the management of an project under construction - 222 E 81st, and I would spend the rest of my time doing so. I interpreted architectural and MEP drawings in order to determine the equipments that were needed for certain services. I also coordinated with other contractors, as well as the project architect to ensure that the project was on schedule. While there I would also request proposals from subcontractors for multiple services regarding prospective projects.
