About 

Architect from Universidad Simón Bolívar. Honorable Mention in thesis project about ‘Resilient cities: socio-ecological exploration of urban resiliency during natural disasters’. I'm interested in the development of projects of adaptive reuse, urban landscape and restoring areas in decay. Also, I'm interested in international cooperation and learning architecture through local practices.

Architect in FB Ingenieria y Proyectos. Experience in construction in Venezuela and Panama. Interior design, development of architectural plans and sections. 3D Modeling and rendering. Developing raw materials assessments and construction budgets. Designed projects for a variety of restaurants, banks and important companies. Contributed with new digital fabrication practices using Rhino. Created and became manager of the social interface & media of the company. Redesigned the company portfolio.

 

Architectural Researcher in Terreform ONE, developing a graduate project. Engaged in social and ecological explorations of urban transformation within  contexts of severe climate dynamism. Created solutions to alleviate storm impact, re-purposing spaces towards environmental adaptation in the communities of Midland Beach & Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NYC. Worked in the Bio City Wall Map of 11 Billion, official selection of the 2014 Venice Biennale, Netherlands Architecture Institute and the Ontario College of Architecture & Design.

 

Academic Experience developing urban scale projects in Caracas, Prague and New York. Building human scale objects in Caracas and Barcelona. From digitally crafted ideas for a skin to be used in a facade, to the design and conceptualization of the ideal tropical city.

Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague, CZ, Exchange

Exchange student program based in excellency in architecture studies. The coursework included design studios which worked with local adaptive reuse of an abandoned Gothic building to be tuned into a hotel. Another studio worked with urban interventions to improve regions affected by climate change and floods in Prague.
