Description:

After visiting the Rocky Glen site, I became interested in the relationship between the constructed and non-constructed landscape. The site was littered with amusement park ruins slowly being overcome by the natural environment. The cycle from untouched environment, to constructed landscape, and eventual back to a natural state is one that occurs unceasingly over time. Could architecture increase ones awareness of this cycle? This project attempts to exploit a multitude of natural cycles found within nature and at the Rocky Glen site in order to achieve this.
