New York, NY
The 4,000 square foot studio is home to DXA studio and a number of their creative partners and collaborators, including ARCHIVE (Architecture for Health in Vulnerable Environments), Equitable Origins, Patrick Cullina Horticultural Design + Consulting: Landscape Design, Lighting Designers Flux Studio and Graphic/Branding Designers FACE. The open layout emphasizes the studio’s approach to horizontal workflow, encourages communication, and prioritizes the whole over the individual. A series of moveable panels allow for concealed, but directly accessible storage, and simultaneously function as pin-up and display surfaces. Lighting, structure and mechanical systems are integrated into a unique ceiling system which provides soft, ambient light to the workspace.
