Lecture Hall & Learning Landscape Renovations, Natural Sciences Center

Working as a collaborative team, Design Synergies Architecture and Get Fresh Industries provided interior architecture, design, and FF&E services for DiDonato Associates’ renovation of the Natural Sciences Center.  Our team worked with the client and stakeholders to design new student study spaces, called Learning Landscapes, along the main corridor and to update five existing lecture halls.  Our work also included working with an acoustical consultant, selecting interior finishes, and preparing a furniture procurement package.  

The project was split into two phases to facilitate the short summer construction window.  It was delayed by one year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but Phase 1 completed construction in August 2021 and Phase 2 was built during the summer of 2022.
