About

In my 25+ years as an Architect, I have held leadership positions within prominent architectural firms and participated in all aspects of architectural practice. This experience has enabled me to acquire a thorough understanding of the Architect’s efforts throughout the design, documentation and construction phases. The initial ten years of my career were spent doing high-rise office building projects, most notably Getty Plaza in Universal City and Warner Center Plaza VI in Woodland Hills. For the last fifteen years of my architectural career, I specialized in providing project management services for luxury hotel and resort projects such as Four Seasons Resort – Aviara and Four Seasons Hotel – Dublin.

Most recently, I represented the development interests of Montage Hotels & Resorts, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. This experience has given me an insider’s appreciation of the financial and operational aspects of hospitality projects and the leadership role that the owner /developer  plays in envisioning projects and bringing them to fruition. As a Director in design and construction departments for those companies, my primary responsibilities included providing design and planning direction, managing consultant teams and developing / monitoring budgets for 5-star luxury urban hotels such as Viceroy – Icon Brickell in Miami and master-planned resort communities such as Royal Island Resort in The Bahamas and Vista Serena in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
