The new office headquarters of Woodward Design+Build was designed using Revit and Autocad 2010, Navisworks, Photoshop, and hand-drawn presentations for 225-person Design+Build firm. I was leading the design for this LEED silver corporate headquarters in New Orleans. The final built version was a collaborative approach with a team of in-house LEED AP for Structural, Civil, Landscaping and Architecture. I was ultimately in charge of interior layouts, based on my workplace psychology analysis.
The completed office has been generating great reviews from visitors and the surrounding community. This building represents Woodward's commitment to the City of New Orleans and a significant investment in green technology. Just some of the exciting sustainable elements of this building include the largest amount of solar panels in the metro area, a green roof and extensive natural daylighting throughout the office.
