DSDC is an African-American, woman-owned design studio that specializes in architecture, interiors, and custom furniture design.  DSDC was established in 2018 to help further founder Daina Swagerty's passion for promoting beauty across cultures, as well as her interest in projects of multiple scales.  The studio aims to design holistic spaces that exude comfort, incite intrigue, and inspire.  Each project is inherently unique with no "one-size fits all" solution.   DSDC believes in a thoughtful and sensitive approach to design that prioritizes listening, educating, co-creation, and transparency.  Above all, the studio's most essential goal is to design spaces, furniture, and art that make people feel good.
