With a degree in the graphic design communication, Donald Brown has over a year of experience as a design intern and freelance graphic designer for print and web. He interned at Resources for Human Development in 2011, taking a leading role in the design of the organization's marketing collateral and graphic needs. Donald spearheaded the design of program logos, newspaper advertisements, in-house and commercial marketing material, and website graphics. He also was trusted with pre-press responsibilities and large scale print jobs which was a testament to his reputation of reliability earned during his tenure. His jovial personality helped form lasting relationships within the organization, and will help fuel positive vibes within the work environment. Donald started working as a freelance designer for Your A.O.K. and RCPAC, two upstarting non profits, in 2012. He uses his skill and creativity to brand and market each program and bring their ideas from pencil to pixel to print form. Donald is highly knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite, but also brings a unique skill as a seasoned illustrator. Additional skills in typography, environmental design, photography and photo manipulation makes Donald a valuable addition to any creative department.
