The Museum was designed to support artwork of young, upcoming artists. It was designed to host any sort of artwork from paintings to large installations as well as a sculpture garden.
The goal behind this project was to create a building that could potentially bring people in this up-and-coming neighborhood of Brooklyn to view the exhibitions and use the ground floor of the building as well as the area around it as a park not only for visitors but open to the public. Its location next to the waterfront would make it visible from New Jersey, Manhattan and Governor’s island rendering it a modern artifact of the new era that Brooklyn, NY is experiencing.
