The handle represents a curved form meant to follow the path from the thumb to the ball of the thumb. A pocket is located on the inner curve of the handle for the thumb, giving the user stability and increased strength during scooping.
The form of this handle is multifunctional for the hand - allowing either a digging or a scooping motion. It is symmetrical to achieve ambidexterity, and therefore universality. The overall curve of the form follows the curve of the thumb to the wrist when fully extended, achieving its ergonomic goal.
