I am a recent graduate from the University of Arizona (May 2018) with a Bachelors of Architecture. My interest in architecture began with the love of story-telling, drawing, and making growing up in rural Vietnam.
In research, care for the environment, and choreography for human experience, architecture happens. I believe in rigorous research of site, exploration of materials, and conceptual ideas. The creative and intellectual process is part of the story. The environment plays a crucial role in architecture design because it influences the conceptual ideas and the human experience. The concern of environment entails respect to the existing place, responding to natural forces, and restraints. Additionally, humans understand the world we live in through our bodies and senses, and fundamentally our buildings must respond to the body.
