About 

Diana Patricia Gonong is a Los Angeles-based designer who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture at Otis College of Art and Design, May 2015. She has received numerous awards, including a national Interior Design Competition in which she was awarded a scholarship from Donghia Senior Foundation. She was one out of 12 recipients of this scholarship throughout the US. 

Diana was inspired to take architecture because of her strong desire to design exclusive spaces and more crucially, contemporary structures that focus highly on sustainable living. 

Diana's interests include 3D design, architecture + sustainability, graphic design, fine art, painting, interior design and home improvement. 

Employment 

Urban Architecture Lab, Los Angeles, CA, US, Design Associate

- Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings
- Product 3D models using Sketchup
- Assist Principal and Project Managers with the development of design solutions and research
- Assist with finished boards and InDesign presentations
- Assist in preparation of space planning, pricing sets, contract documentation and product specifications
- Assist in design phases from Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Development, Construction Documents to Construction Administration
- Select fixtures, finishes, and products necessary for Pricing Sets, as well as create Finish Material, Plumbing and Lighting Fixture, Window and Door Schedules
- Work on projects in Plan Check phase and provide clear and accurate responses requested by the city Plan Checker
- Manage any RFIs and other documentation requested by contractors to formally address any concerns on the project sites
- Have intermediate knowledge of the California Building Codes, Cal Green, and Accessibility Codes
- Have a thorough knowledge of the firm's CAD and drafting standards
