About

Hello there! I am recent graduate from the Hillier College of Architecture and Design at NJIT in Newark, NJ. I have a Bachelor of Architecture accredited degree with a minor in history and a passion for people. I was an Honors scholar at the Albert Dorman Honors College and use the same drive and gusto that helped me pursue independent research in college and lead a design-build group to implement guerilla architecture in Newark. Throughout my time in school, I pursued mentorship from my professors and peers, and spent time mentoring those after me and understand the importance of collaboration. I have a deep romance with art and shaping culture with social intervention. I know and believe that space can influence emotion, cause reactions, and is ultimately what helps us advocate for our planet and people. Design is a reflection of the people it serves.

_ Independent research in understanding and visualizing space vs. place.
_ Developed a personal design process and outlined methods for students to develop their own.
_ Contributed to reintroducing the design-build process by leading a group of students in building a Parklet with AIAS NJIT Freedom by Design.
_ Introduced the empowerment of a design education to a local Newark middle school and helped students to design their dream playgrounds.
_ Completed and advocated for importance of the pursuit of an undergraduate thesis, advised by the Dr. Gabrielle Esperdy, Dean of the Hillier College of Architecture and Design.
