Our Values
designshop was born out of a desire to create quality architecture through excellence in client engagement - listening, thinking, and creating smart, attractive, and efficient solutions from well-defined problems.
Increasingly today, the production of architecture and the subsequent construction of buildings lack original design intent. designshop intends to bridge this divide by offering a holistic design approach – to deliver a project shaped by the experiences of skilled professionals early in the design process. Our desire is to be skilled designers working as equally skilled collaborators, building teams for a purpose and working collectively to achieve remarkable results. The team as a whole contributes to the evolution of a project in design and construction, drawing inspiration from both the abstract and the pragmatic.
At designshop, we're flexible by nature, and passionate about the work being produced. We focus on issues critical to today’s built environment such as accessibility, safety, sustainability, cost, maintenance, energy efficiency and conservation, constructability, environmental and social impact, and meaningful designs born from a collaboration rather than the isolation of a single individual's pen.
designshop is serious about the production of architecture. We enjoy the process of creation as much as the physical built spaces. We revel in the complexities of a project and take great pride as a clients experience their new space for the first time.
