Auburn Hills, MI
A new mixed use development is set to open this year in downtown Rochester, Michigan. Located at 1213 N. Main Street, the new project was designed by Designhaus Architecture, a local firm that has taken on multiple projects in the downtown area of Rochester. The 15,510 square foot building will be a 2 story mixed use project with 6,000 square feet of office space and a parking garage on the first floor and 15,000 square feet of residential above.
Peter Stuhlreyer, the chief architecture at Designhaus has said that the new mixed use building has allowed for more growth to the downtown area of Rochester and is very satisfied with the way things are looking in Rochester. “It’s good to see downtown Rochester expand with additional developments being looked at on the North side of town. The kind of mixed use development is becoming more popular and economical, which is beneficial towards the city and residences looking for a small town, yet luxurious residence.”
Site demolition was completed last fall and construction is slated to begin in early spring.
