Modern Animal is a veterinary clinic designed to be a great place to work. In contrast to typical clinics, we designed a truly transparent home for the company’s flagship, where visitors can see from the street straight through to the treatment areas. The entire experience of visiting an animal clinic, from entry to treatment, has been equally considered. In our first space to delve into the human animal relationship, we eliminated the barrier between the front customer areas and the ‘back of house’ using materiality, spacial adjacencies and natural light to blur the line between traditionally separated zones.
