AETHOS Consulting Group is a hospitality advisory firm that takes a hands-on and culture-based approach to assist companies in the hospitality, travel and real estate sectors address their human capital needs. The firm’s team members have an extensive track record of providing bespoke advice to organizations globally in the areas of senior executive recruitment, organizational design and succession planning, talent management, and compensation consulting. Within the role, I functioned as the Lead Consultant for senior-level search assignments, balancing anywhere from 3 to 5 clients at any given time. I defined succinct search strategies and timelines tailored to each client’s specific human capital needs. I pitched AETHOS services to clients, drafted proposals, identified target peer groups, recruited and conducted candidate interviews, presented candidates to the clients, coordinated travel and accommodations, and assisted in salary negotiations. I also worked within their Compensation Consulting division, where I performed compensation studies on executive pay in both the hotel and gaming industries, published in the October 2015 issue of the Casino Journal, and analyzed the Board of Directors for various public hospitality companies to track and compare their overall performance.

During the course of the internship, I enhanced business development efforts in the New York Worldwide Sales Office, working closely with Account Directors to specifically target travel agencies, corporate accounts and group accounts. I served as a global contact for all business clients in the Northeast territory, representing all Four Seasons properties. I utilized research tools to help develop a prospective client database of over 100 new potential clients and uncovered over $175,000 in potential sales revenue over the course of the internship, nearly tripling the goal set for the end of summer.

Over the course of the summer, I directed the implementation of Service Channel – a software platform that receives customer requests for services or goods related to the restaurant buildings, equipment and systems. I served as the representative for Shake Shack when meeting with the Service Channel team, and was responsible for presenting project updates during weekly meetings to maintain accurate forecasting of completion. I compiled, validated and logged all of the vendor and equipment data for all of the currently operating Shake Shack locations across the country, and formatted to efficiently load into the software.
