Hi, I'm Denise Pereira, a New York based architect currently working at Mapos as a project manager for retail interiors. I've been practicing in the city for about two years since graduating from Cornell University with a B.Arch in 2012.
I'm extremely interested in graphic representation. I believe that architecture should always intersect with ideas of branding and graphic identity. It can clarify a concept to the designer in developing their work, while also making that work more accessible to the public.
As a result, my design work has included books, portfolios, and exhibits along with spaces and buildings with each exercise informing the next. I hope to continue to expand that list.
