This project was for our Design Studio last semester. We were tasked to design the Islamic Cultural Center located in Park 51, New York. Because this building was controversial in nature, we had the challenge to make an institution that was not discriminating and make it one that was very welcoming to all different races. In this, I used the concept of the pilgrimage in which all humans relate to regardless of race and religion.
