This new three-storey, stainless steel extension is of a contemporary design which contrasts with the traditional design of the existing house. The design is unique and innovative and it reflects a dance promenade in elevation.

The design has already been awarded with a prestigious UK Property Award in 2017.

Two  planning applications were submitted in order to arrive at a desirable design. A permitted development application for the first and second floor and a planning application for the extended ground floor.

The open plan living area spans longer of 15m, an exceptionally large room for London. The bathrooms are a piece of art – with glass instead of tiles that possess an “Alice in Wonderland” look.

The brief: We never start a project unless seeing the site first. We visit the place, sit down with the client and discuss potential options from the outset. We advise them on how to maximise the space, keeping the lines clean, filling the room with light and noting down their top wishes.
