About

I am a Parsons School of Design graduate with a double major in Architectural Design and Environmental Studies. My education has nourished my interest in low embodied carbon building, and the relationship between architectural design and the climate crisis. I am interested doing work that is a critical architectural response to the climate crisis at different scales. My environmental Studies Thesis "Rethinking Architecture: Regenerative Biobased Materials and Speculative Design" allowed me to research and speculate upon the future of biobased architecture.

Throughout my education, I held several positions simultaneously: research assistant, assistant to the librarian and resident advisor. These positions sharpened my research skills and has taught me crisis management skills.  I also worked intermittently with the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, designing and supporting the youth design program "Design Hive". This work has helped me connect with fellow designers and help younger designers frame their design thinking within the context of empathy, sustainability and equity.
