The project was to design a guest house that will share the site of the famous Tower's House in Essex, CT.  The client of this guest house in architect Rem Koolhaas.  The cave house is a luxurious and modern house that extrudes from the side of the hill.  The reason behind this design is so that both structures will  will share the beautiful view of the Connecticut river without interrupting each other.
