South Pasadena, CA
This place is all about rolled ice-cream. We want to build a dreamy and romantic store as the one in the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel. The design is largely moved by visually aesthetic elements in other words, shapes and color. Laying fine lines by the transition of material, objects, even tiles grouts further emphasize the concept. The aesthetic is built up by strict and simple geo shapes. The decorative film adds a little 3D dimension to it, to let your eyes pop up and of course it is a perfect Instagram wall. Who ever said it is too Instagrammable?
