An experienced architect, planner and project manager with extensive knowledge in cultural sustainability and green building design and construction. Having practiced sustainable architecture and planning in the USA, Middle East and North Africa both in the employment of world recognized architecture firms, and independently as a consultant architect to institutions, developers and private individuals. This diversity molded Fedaa's abilities to analyze objectively and service the different cultural and environmental markets to which Fedaa's technical services are offered. This also helped Fedaa expand her resources in the areas of building materials and technical support to better contribute to valuable projects in design, eco-planning and strategic project management. Nevertheless, cultural awareness went hand in hand with Fedaa's professional experience to contribute in establishing positive communication with clients and consultants for the satisfactory delivery of architecture and planning projects.
In addition, environmental and cultural research encompassed a great part of Fedaa's career as an architect, a teacher, a real estate development professional, and even in her personal interest in photography, horticulture, arts and in the development of indigenous crafts through the application of sustainable technologies to benefit world market. Currently, Fedaa El-Dosougi volunteers time and experience to Habitat for Humanity of Broward County, and to Hayatt Dosougi Mercy (HDM), a nonprofit organization for sustainable human development in East Africa.
Fedaa El-Dosougi highly appreciated throughout her career the confidence she received from past employers, supervisors, team members, students and respectable clients for the opportunities to be part of valuable and exciting projects, for sharing the knowledge and for their support and trust.
Fedaa Strongly believes in high ethics and family values as she states: "Mostly appreciated are my mother and father, for engulfing me with their love, protection, encouragement, positive teachings, mentoring the love of learning and arts, and for planting the seed of values, ethics and integrity in our personal and professional lives, and for them I am forever grateful".

Physical Planning Research towards MSC in Sustainable Regional Eco-Planning and Design
Physically performed research on the aspects that influence the planning and design of coastal settlements along the west coast of the Red Sea region of East Africa and suggested solutions are forwarded for consideration. The research included environmental, cultural, political and economic investigations of historic and existing influences on the stability of the region. The study required full time physical engagement in all aspects influencing the efforts towards the sustainable redevelopment of the region and involved engagement with international environmental, political and social organizations such as PERSEGA, NOA and UNDP. Phase one of the study earned me the degree of MSC in sustainable cultural eco-planning and design, and is in evaluation for continuity towards earning a PHD in the same subject area at the neighborhood scale.
