At EC3 I have been able to gain a lot of experience in the design phase of projects. Our design process emphasized using physical models as the catalyst of design. My responsibilities ranged from developing physical and digital models, coordinating digital models and data with consultants, and creating graphics for various client presentations. During my time at EC3 I also had the chance to engage in international travel for both the “Dalang Sports and Cultural Arts Center”, and the “Atlassian Headquarters Design Brief” projects. This included organizing and coordinating the delivery of models, participating in the various client workshops, and presenting design materials in both China, and Australia. Overall, I feel my 2 years of experience working closely with Edwin Chan has allowed me to develop very strong design skills, and the ability to communicate ideas with client groups.
