Claudia Lu (surname also spelled as Lyu or Lv) is a New York registered architect based between London and Shanghai. Her multi-disciplinary design work straddles the space between experiential narrative and sociocultural reinterpretation.
Claudia holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University, where she was awarded Eschweiler Prize for distinction in design studios.
She has previously worked with SHoP Architects, Kengo Kuma & Associates, Amanda Levete Architects (AL_A), and Studio 10. Major projects she worked on include YouTube Headquarters (San Bruno, CA, USA), Belgrade Philharmonic Concert Hall (Belgrade, Serbia), Xianlin Art Center (Nanjing, China), SKP (multiple locations, China), and ‘Long Life Design’ Exhibition (Shenzhen, China).
Her work has been shown at the AIA New York Center for Architecture, Chicago Architecture Biennale, AD Museum in LA, and Museum of Design Atlanta. She is currently researching on collective living space with a focus on wellness and repose.
