Karun is an architect, who graduated with merit from India’s premier architecture & design school NMIMS-BSSA. He has professional experience from offices in Tokyo, Bangalore and Bombay. He has worked on a wide variety of projects varying from single/multi-use objects to neighborhood design & development in full scale townships.
He strongly believes that architecture must perform and participate in its contextual dynamic 'flows'. His undergraduate thesis project is called 'Performative Assemblages' - is a strategic framework to trigger urban regeneration through socio-spatial transformations within the Eastern Waterfront region of Mumbai.
He is currently a graduate student at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and is interested in exploring conditions of multiplicity, possibility and simultaneity through design and strategic thinking.

university’s library building as they are now and begin to plan for how to design
and “build in” characteristics or attributes that will foster scholarly activities
across a range of intentions. Reconfiguring library spaces to support different

Goal of the project: Explore, define, and test descriptors of our spaces (create,
share, explore, invite & connect, collect and curate).

The Fellowship Project looks at redefining the notions of ‘property’ in a post digital world, tweaking its characteristics to produce possibilities for radically different architectures.
