Simulation of Kinematic Design

Animal profile and movement has a long term impact in human history and inspire numerous design from product to architecture. This is a study focus on using computer animation technology in design process. Movement of animal is used as a simulation target to create kinematic design from small to large scale such as architecture.

Giraffe, Gibbon and Kangaroo are chosen as the study resource for developing the final design. The final design intend to connect environment with kinematic devices to create a sustainable solution. Because of the continuous change environment, the direction of creating kinematic architecture skin should properly respond to the Mother Nature.
