About

I'm an architect, designer and artist based in New York City.  I've always sought to balance my creative efforts with technical knowledge and experience.  Working in NYC since 2006, I gained experience on high end residential, hospitality, offices, sports and entertainment and retail projects.

Education

University of Illinois Chicago, Chicago, IL, US, MArch, Architecture

UIC redirected their initiatives to Landscape Urbanism during my studies. Urban planning, architecture and interior design directed my projects to explore the potential for any given project with a strong focus on conceptual design. I participated in the UIC study abroad program which included walking tours of Paris, Barcelona, Genova, Florence and Rome. The studio for this semester was in Barcelona where we focused on a high density housing project in El Raval, just outside the Gothic Quarter.

Aug 2004 - May 2006

University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Minneapolis, MN, US, BArch, CALA

During my studies at the University of Minnesota, I explored and really connected to urban planning, the effects of a building on an urban scale and responded to what I thought was appropriate based on the given contextual conditions. I also decided to focus my minor studies on studio arts with an emphasis on photography. Art is still prevalent in my life today as I draw, paint and design outside of the regular day in a studio. Photography was closely connected to my understanding of a site, exploring and observing the context and it has continued to be an interest of mine.
